Disturbed sleep means less energy during the day to all the things that matter to you. We have identified the most common causes of sleep disturbance and developed our mattresses to combat them, so that we can offer you a deep, restful sleep, every night, resulting in a happier, better you.

Prevent Overheating While Sleeping

Overheating at night is one of the most common reasons for disturbed sleep. This is why we create many small perforations throughout the mattress layers (the AirFlow system), allowing fresh air to circulate throughout the mattress, removing excess heat and ensuring you stay cool, all night long.

Maximise Support & Spine Alignment

Springs are the king of support in a mattress, which is why we use up to 2000, tall (16cm) encapsulated pocket springs in ours. This creates the perfect spine alignment and support for your joints and back, ensuring you wake up pain-free and ready for the day ahead. Each sleeper is supported individually, preventing any sleep disturbance caused by the other’s movement.

Old Mattress Disposal

When we deliver your new Otty mattress, we can also take your old one away with us. This is a premium service that we offer to all our customers, available at the checkout for a small fee.

What is a hybrid mattress?

A hybrid mattress combines pocket springs with foam comfort layers to deliver the best of both. The springs provide strong structural support, reduce motion transfer between sleeping partners, and allow air to circulate through the mattress to regulate temperature. The foam layers above contour to your body, relieve pressure on joints, and create a comfortable sleeping surface. The result is a mattress that offers the responsiveness and breathability of a traditional spring mattress with the body-contouring comfort of foam.

What does a hybrid mattress do?

A hybrid mattress combines the benefits of innerspring coils and foam layers. The springs provide strong support and improved airflow, while the foam layers, often memory foam or latex, offer pressure relief and contouring comfort. This combination aims to provide a balanced sleep experience, blending support and cushioning.

Is it better to get a foam or hybrid mattress?

The choice between a foam and a hybrid mattress depends on personal preference. Foam mattresses, particularly memory foam, are excellent for contouring and pressure relief, ideal for side sleepers. Hybrid mattresses offer a balance of support and comfort, combining the bounce and airflow of springs with the contouring of memory foam, making them versatile for various sleep positions.

Who should buy a hybrid mattress?

Hybrid mattresses are great for those who want a blend of support and comfort. They are suitable for couples with different sleep preferences, combination sleepers who change positions often, and those who enjoy the responsiveness of innerspring coils but also want the contouring benefits of foam.

How firm is the OTTY Original Hybrid Mattress?

The OTTY Original scores 7 out of 10 on our firmness scale, making it a medium-firm mattress. This level of firmness suits most sleepers and provides enough resistance to support your spine while still offering comfort at the surface.

How thick is the OTTY Original?

The OTTY Original is 25cm deep. This depth accommodates the full layer construction - base foam, encapsulated pocket springs, reflex foam, memory foam, and the thick knitted cover.

How many pocket springs does the OTTY Original have?

Depending on the size, the OTTY Original contains up to 2,000 individually encapsulated pocket springs, each 16cm tall. Each spring moves independently, which maximises support across the entire sleeping surface and minimises motion transfer.

How long does delivery take?

Most mainland UK orders are delivered within 2–4 working days from the date your order is placed.

Once your order has been dispatched, our delivery partner will contact you via email or SMS with a delivery booking link. Using this link, you can choose a delivery day from the available dates that best suits you.

Some locations, particularly Scotland, may take longer depending on how far north the delivery address is. In these areas, delivery can take up to 10 working days.

Do you offer old mattress collection?

Yes. You can add Old Mattress Collection during checkout, just before payment.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland?

Yes, we deliver to Northern Ireland.

Delivery takes up to 10 working days.
Delivery charge: £60.
Old mattress collection is not available for Northern Ireland deliveries.

Can you deliver to a room of my choice?

Yes.

Room of Choice Delivery can be added during checkout for £10.
If you have also purchased Old Mattress Collection, room of choice delivery is included at no extra cost.
Delivery is subject to safe and reasonable access within your home.

Can I choose my delivery day?

Yes.

Once your order has been placed, please email cs@otty.com with your order number and your preferred delivery date.

Can you leave my order with a neighbour or in a safe place?

No.

For security reasons, we cannot leave orders with neighbours or in a safe place. Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the order.

Can I try the mattress before committing?

Yes. Every OTTY mattress comes with a 100-night sleep trial, giving you plenty of time to experience your new mattress in the comfort of your own home.

We recommend sleeping on your new mattress for at least 30 nights, as it can take time for both your body and the mattress to adjust.

If you decide the mattress isn't the right fit, simply contact our Customer Care team within your 100-night trial. We'll discuss your options, which include exchanging your mattress for a different OTTY model or firmness, or arranging a return for a full refund in accordance with our Sleep Trial Terms & Conditions.

Can I choose my delivery date?

Our delivery partner allows you to select your delivery date from a calendar link. On the morning of your delivery, you'll receive a 2-hour ETA slot so you know when to expect your order.

What size options are available, and what are the prices?

The OTTY Original is available in nine sizes. Single (90x190cm), Small Double (120x190cm), Double (135x190cm), King (150x200cm), Superking (180x200cm), EU Single (90x200cm), EU Double (140x200cm), EU King (160x200cm), and Emperor (200x200cm).

Do I need to rotate the mattress?

We recommend rotating the mattress once a month for the first 12 months, then once every three months after that.
