Is a European King size right for you?

The European king — sometimes written as EU king — is the go-to choice for couples who want more space than a UK king provides, or for anyone upgrading from a continental bed frame. At 160x200cm, it's a full 10cm wider than the UK equivalent, which makes a noticeable difference when you're actually in bed rather than just looking at a size chart.

It's also a practical size for taller sleepers. The 200cm length is the same as a UK king, but the extra width means you're less likely to be encroaching on each other's space even when both of you are stretched out.
