Disturbed sleep means less energy during the day to all the things that matter to you. We have identified the most common causes of sleep disturbance and developed our mattresses to combat them, so that we can offer you a deep, restful sleep, every night, resulting in a happier, better you.
Overheating at night is one of the most common reasons for disturbed sleep. This is why we create many small perforations throughout the mattress layers (the AirFlow system), allowing fresh air to circulate throughout the mattress, removing excess heat and ensuring you stay cool, all night long.
Springs are the king of support in a mattress, which is why we use up to 2000, tall (16cm) encapsulated pocket springs in ours. This creates the perfect spine alignment and support for your joints and back, ensuring you wake up pain-free and ready for the day ahead. Each sleeper is supported individually, preventing any sleep disturbance caused by the other’s movement.
When we deliver your new Otty mattress, we can also take your old one away with us. This is a premium service that we offer to all our customers, available at the checkout for a small fee.
We can deliver your new Otty mattress directly to a room of your choice within your home (where it is accessible and safe to do so). This option is also available at the checkout.
Want to make things even easier? Our delivery crew can unpack your new Otty mattress and remove all packaging, which will then be recycled. Again, simply select this option at the checkout.
The OTTY Original scores 7/10 on our firmness scale, where 10 is firm. This makes it a medium-firm mattress.
Yes, we recommend you rotate your mattress once a month for the first 12 months and then once every 3 months thereafter. The OTTY Original has special handles on the underneath of the cover, that make it easier.
OTTY can be used on any standard base, including divans, slatted frames, adjustable beds or platform beds. We recommend slatted bases which allow extra air circulation on the underneath of the mattress.
We do not advise to use the mattress with steel bed frames and steel supports as thin steel slats may not provide the necessary support for the mattress, which could lead to sagging over time.
The OTTY Original and Pure models are our most accredited when it comes to back and joint support. We would recommend these to anyone struggling with sleep due to these issues.
All OTTY foam is CertiPUR and Europur approved, meaning that both the quality and toxicity of the foam have been tested time and time again and pass the highest standards set by the governing body.
FIRA is the UK’s designated testing house for BS7177 Fire Hazard testing which all furniture products must go through. All OTTY products are fully compliant with the UK fire regulations.
